## What is known

IANA's IPv4 Address Space registry marks the encompassing `1.0.0.0/8` block as allocated to APNIC. This placeholder makes the repository's current range sequence explicit before the researched `1.1.1.0/24` record.

## What is not yet known

This file does not yet establish the exact APNIC registrant, current BGP origin, network operator, or services for `1.1.0.0/24`.

Research must still determine:

- the authoritative APNIC RDAP record and resource holder;
- current BGP announcements and origin ASN or ASNs;
- RPKI/ROA state;
- operator and service relationships;
- whether the range needs subdivision into more-specific records.

Until those checks are complete, this remains a placeholder and no single “owner” is asserted.
